2. Initial Consultation:
Online or Home Visit
During our first meeting (Either Online or Face to Face or Both), we will explore your vision for the cabin or garden building. We’ll discuss your requirements, budget, and preferences regarding size, style, and features. Additionally, we will conduct a site assessment to evaluate the proposed location, considering access and any potential challenges such as regulations or environmental considerations.
3. Design Phase:
Concept Design
We’ll create a design concept at no cost or commitment, allowing you to visualise your project before making any decisions. This initial concept will give you a clear idea of how your cabin or garden building may look and function, setting the stage for our collaboration.
4. Design Development and Approval
Once you are satisfied with the concept, we’ll work together to develop a comprehensive design. This phase includes agreeing on costs, establishing a start date, and estimating the duration for the build. Our team will then create digital designs that reflect your ideas. This may include floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings as required to help you visualize the project. Your feedback is crucial, so we will present these designs to you and make any necessary adjustments until we finalise the perfect plan.
5. Planning and Permits
We will handle the legwork of researching and applying for all necessary building permits and approvals from local authorities if required. This ensures that we comply with all regulations before we proceed.
6. The Building Begins:
Preperation and Foundation
We’ll start by preparing the site, clearing any debris or obstacles, and leveling the ground as needed. Next, we will focus on the laying of the foundation and base construction.
7. Framing
We will construct the structural framework of your cabin, including the walls, roof, and floor systems, ensuring everything is square and level. We will also make sure that windows and doors are installed securely into the framed openings.
8. Roofing and Exterior
We’ll add roofing materials to protect your cabin or garden buil;ding from the elements. For the exterior, we will apply siding, paint, or stain, choosing materials that beautifully complement the natural surroundings.
9. Interior Work
Insulation will be installed in the walls and ceilings, followed by your internal wall choice to create your living spaces. Our team will oversee the installation of flooring and fixtures, including lighting, plumbing, and cabinetry as required, to ensure a cohesive design.
10. Final Touches
We will complete any remaining interior work, including painting, trim work, and final installations, to give your cabin that polished look. If desired, we can enhance the surrounding area with landscaping, pathways, or outdoor features to create a welcoming environment.
11. Inspection and Handover
A thorough final inspection will be conducted to ensure everything meets our quality standards and complies with building codes. We will invite you for a final walkthrough to showcase your completed cabin and address any last-minute concerns.
12. Post-Build Support
After handover, we will follow up to ensure your satisfaction and address any issues that may arise. Your feedback is invaluable, so we will request your thoughts to help improve future projects and build a portfolio of testimonials.
